Team India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja shut down rumours regarding his retirement after the Men in Blue won their third Champions Trophy. Ravindra Jadeja confirmed his future on his social media account a day after the Rohit Sharma-led team’s victory in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final clash.
Team India secured a four-wicket victory over New Zealand at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai on Sunday, March 9. Jadeja played a crucial role with the ball, restricting the opposition to a below-par score. The left-handed batter also smashed the winning runs with the bat during the final.
Ravindra Jadeja to Retire from ODIs After Champions Trophy Victory?
Virat Kohli was seen hugging Ravindra Jadeja after the all-rounder completed his bowling spell. The moment quickly gained attention and sparked speculation about Jadeja possibly retiring from ODIs. Notably, Rohit Sharma, Virat and Jadeja had retired from T20Is last year after the T20 World Cup 2024 win.
However, the Saurashtra-born cricketer took to his official Instagram to refute rumours surrounding his retirement from ODIs. Jadeja wrote, “No unnecessary rumors, thanks.”
