“He even shared his experience while fielding. Virat gifted a lot of things to the Delhi cricketers. He gave bats to a lot of players. He gave his bats to me, Ayush Badoni, Sarvansh Bedi, and Navdeep Saini. He also gifted his kit bags to me and Vaibhav in which VK 18 is written,” he added.

How was the dressing room atmosphere?

Further speaking on Virat Kohli, Sanat Sangwan spoke about Delhi’s dressing room atmosphere. Sangwan revealed that the players were determined to win the match and Kohli always used to inspire them to do well.

“The dressing room environment was totally different. Everyone was determined to win the match. The dressing room atmosphere was light because of him. He always inspires us to do well. I was very excited since it was my first meeting with him. My parents were also happy,” the young opener added.

Sanat Sangwan scored a hard-fought 30 off 81 balls in the match. The 24-year-old left-hander struck 4 fours during his knock. He weathered an excellent bowling spell from Railways pacers and was solid during his knock.

Virat Kohli’s poor form continues

Virat Kohli had a tough time on his return to the Ranji Trophy after a long time. The 36-year-old was dismissed for just 6 off 15 balls by the Railways seamer Himanshu Sangwan who had his off stump out of the ground with a perfect delivery that seamed in after pitching outside off.

In the previous ball, Kohli had jumped down the track and smashed Sangwan down the ground for an imperious four. However, the bowler was clever and pulled back his length in the next ball and got a memorable wicket.
