Karnataka’s M. Raghu clinched his maiden men’s singles title at the Senior National Badminton Championship following a thrilling 14-21, 21-14, 24-22 victory over former champion Mithun Manjunath at the KBA courts on Tuesday.
Raghu, the 26-year-old, beat statemate Mithun Manjunath – representing Railways – after saving three championship points in the summit clash.

In the women’s final, Haryana’s Devika Sihag defeated Telangana’s Shriyanshi Valishetty 21-15, 21-16 in 35 minutes.
Uttar Pradesh’s Shruti Mishra finished runner-up in women’s doubles with Manipur’s Priya Devi Konjengbam but clinched the title in mixed doubles with statemate Ayush Agarwal.
UP’s Arsh Mohammad and Rajasthan’s Sanskar Saraswat won 21-12, 12-21, 21-19 against Tamil Nadu’s P. Naveen and V. Lokesh in the men’s doubles final.
