All Sold And Unsold Players List

The WPL Auction 2025 took place on Sunday (15th December) in Bengaluru. The event saw a few players getting sold as the franchises solidified their team going into the next edition of the Women’s Premier League (WPL), which is expected to take place in February next year.

As many as 19 slots were to be filled in the WPL Auction 2025. Out of those, 14 were Indian and 5 were overseas. Heading into the event, all the franchises collectively had a purse of INR 16.7 crore, and hence, the event ended quickly, unlike the IPL 2025 auction which ended after two days.

Heading into WPL Auction 2024, Gujarat Giants had the the maximum purse of INR 4.4 crore with four slots to fill while UP Warriorz had the second biggest purse of INR 3.9 crore with a total of 3 slots to be filled.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru had INR 3.25 and will have four slots to fill. Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals had INR 2.65 and 2.5, respectively, with both the teams having 4 slots each to be filled.

Simran Shakih was the most expensive player in the WPL Auction 2025

India played Simran Shakih was the most expensive player in the WPL Auction 2025 as she was acquired by Gujarat Giants for the whopping amount of INR 1.90 crore. The second expensive player in this edition of Auction was sold to Gujarat Giants as they brought Deandra Dottin for INR 1.70 crore.

G Kamalini also bagged a whopping deal as he got INR 1.60 crore from Mumbai Indians. India player Prema Rawat was amongst the costliest players in the WPL Auction 2025 as he was picked by Royal Challengers Bengaluru for INR 1.20 crore.

Delhi Capitals Women brought three players in Nandini Kashyap, N Charani, and Sarah Bryce, while Deandra Dottin and Simran Shaikh were purchased by Gujarat Giants.

Nadine de Klerk, G. Kamalini, and Sanskriti Gupta will be playing for Mumbai Indians in WPL 2025, whereas Arushi Goel, Kranti Goud, and Alana King will be donning UP Warriors jerseys.
