Customer Base – finished 2012 with a nice second in the Grade 3 Autumn Miss Stakes at Santa Anita in October for trainer Tom Proctor and has placed in five of seven starts in 2013. She had a fifth in the Grade 2 Yellow Ribbon September 2 after a fourth in the Grade 2 John C. Mabee Stakes August 11, a win in the minor Lucie Manet Stakes July 5, a second in the Redondo Beach Stakes June 9 and a third in the Great Lady M. Stakes in May. Last time out she finished a good third in the Grade 2 Goldikova Stakes at Santa Anita November 3 after a second in the minor Swingtime Stakes October 5 also on that track. She has looked good in her last four graded stakes starts and has two seconds and a third in three tires on this track. Customer Base looks to break through Sunday and is likely one of your morning line favorites.

Gulsary – Tom Proctor trained Irish bred filly had 10 starts in Europe with just two wins and a second place finish. In her North American debut she was fourth in an Allowance Optional Claiming in August and then went on to an Allowance score as 9-5 favorite October 17. Last time out was a third in an Allowance December 5. She makes her graded stakes debut Sunday with some hype behind her. Legendary jockey Gary Stevens gets the call.

Moone’s My Name – John Sadler trained British bred mare had six wins, three seconds and three third place finishes in 17 career starts at home before debuting in North America and finishing second by a neck in the minor American Beauty Stakes on this track April 7. Her first graded stakes action came April 28 – a decent third in the Grade 3 Wilshire at Hollywood Park April 28. After7 1/2 months off she returned December 5 to a gate-to-wire Allowance score at Hollywood Park. That’s a win, a second and a third place finish in three starts on North American soil. Rafael Bejarano will be in the saddle.

Appealing – Irish bred Patrick Gallagher trained filly had a fourth in the minor Osunitas Stakes July 20 after a ninth in the Redondo Beach Stakes and a nice win in a pair of Allowance Optional Claiming scores in April and in May. Last time out was a fifth in the Grade 2 Goldikova Stakes November 2 after her best performance in quite some time – a second in the Grade 2 Yellow Ribbon at Del Mar September 2. Appealing has four wins, two seconds and two third place finishes in 15 career starts but has yet to record a graded stakes win. Corey Nakatani will be aboard in Appealing’s first try at 1 1/8 miles on turf.

Becky Lou – is coming off a nice Allowance score at Hollywood Park November 24 after a fourth in the minor Torrey Pines Stakes September 1, a fifth in the Grade 1 American Oaks in July and a fourth at this distance on turf in the Grade 2 Honeymoon Handicap in June. She has three wins and a third place finish in 10 career starts and will be looking for her first stakes score Sunday.

Stormy Lucy – had an ugly eleventh in the 2012 Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Turf and was forced into a seven month layoff. She returned to action June 9 to a fourth in the minor Redondo Beach Stakes here and followed that with a fifth in the Grade 2 Royal Heroine also in July. Stormy Lucy had a win by four lengths in the minor Miss America Stakes October 19 at Golden Gate but followed that with an eighth last time out in the Grade 1 Matriarch at Hollywood Park December 1. She has yet to win a graded stakes but did have a second in last year’s Del Mar Oaks.

Champagneandcaviar – Gary Mandella trained filly has 17 career starts with just four wins, two seconds and two third place finishes but had a terrific Allowance Optional Claiming score at Santa Anita October 11 after failing to place in her previous four starts – all minor stakes action. Last time out was a fourth in the Grade 2 Bayakoa Handicap at Hollywood Park December 7. Champagneandcaviar did win two straight minor stakes races in summer 2012 but hasn’t been the same since that time.

Playful Humor – Neil Drysdale trained filly races is stakes company for the first time Sunday but does enter on a two race win streak – both Allowance races at Golden Gate with the last coming December 1. She has three wins in her nine career starts – all three coming in her last four starts. She steps up in company but seems to be in good form for Sunday.

Nickels Wild – has eight career starts – all MSW races with a win, two seconds and two third place finishes. She makes her step up in class off a win December 5 and a pair of seconds November 10 and October 18 respectively.
