World No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz will headline Spain’s squad and could face World No. 2 Novak Djokovic of Serbia in the Group Stage for this year’s Davis Cup Finals.
The group stage of the premier men’s tennis team event will feature 16 teams divided into four pools and take place across four cities – Bologna, Manchester, Split and Valencia – from September 12-17, just after the US Open.
The top two teams in each group will advance to the Final 8 stage which will be played in Malaga, Spain, from November 21-26. Canada, the top seed, won its maiden title last year.
